I'm Adam White. I'm a web development consultant based in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

I'm the managing editor of Punknews.org, where I write, podcast and promote independent music. At JMR Logics I develop custom web applications using Drupal, PHP, and Java. I also consult with small businesses on content creation, social media and online engagement. In my spare time I explore the Niagara region with my video blog Check In Niagara.

As a speaker I've given well-received talks on social media and the Internet for cities, businesses and service organizations in the Niagara Region. I'm one of the founding members of the Niagara Social Media Club.

About Adam White

Week Song

So in an effort to derive meaning from random circumstance, I’m choosing a pseudo-random song each week which shall become intimately familiar with. It will be the first song I listen to each morning, Monday to Friday, and by the end of the week I’ll either be in complete love with it or absolutely sick of it. I say “pseudo-random” as I’ll likely tamper with the selection process and nix any selections which I perceive will make my week worse as a whole.

The week of Monday, May 16th 2011 is thus sponsored by:

Fugazi’s “Stacks” from Steady Diet of Nothing

The outlook: This will be a busy week. We arrived home from a two week European vacation last week and spent the majority of the time trying to undig and put our lives back on track (and sick with snooty Euro germs that our bodies had no immunity to). This week is packed with meetings and somehow in between those I need to make some serious coding headway for JMR. Furthermore I’m training new editors for Punknews and speaking on social media to the Professional Photographers of Ontario’s Hamilton / Niagara chapter. Sounds like a challenge.
